Story that is almost a year ago

looks like i didnt blog for about a year already since my peroneal tendon surgery is done in june 08... dont really have time even for myself but i'll try to update this blog "hopefully"...here i would like to continue the story of post OP...

let me tell some story be4 the OP is done...

thursday 12/06/2008 i went to college in the morning to meet the HOD of physiotherapy to inform her about not going to class for my surgery then i attend introduction to healthcare (IHC) class...

then at 1pm reach assunta to be admitted... after done every procedure at the admission counter i was brought to 'ward fatimah' room no9... it is a single bed room... my parents n my lil bro went home left me n my gf in the ward..

Nurses keep coming in every 1 hour to check my BP, pulse n temperature... there's 1 cute nurse that is same age as me... hehe.. (^.^) by around 3pm dunno who came in n took my blood for blood count..

after that at 3.30pm i was called for MRI scan....
went down to the MRI room the people there asked me to change to their shirt...
i really dunno how to wear it... it looks like a "bath robe'..
i can only wear my underwear inside..
i look funny with that shirt..
it's freezing cold outside the MRI room till my jaw shivering, damn funny... after that went into the MRI room...

the MRI machine was cool...
1st time i saw a real MRI machine n to be in a MRI machine to be scan is a real experience but the worse is yet to come...

after positioning me they put me into the ''terowong'' n started scanning my left leg,.. it's sickening to be in the terowong... cant move even 1mm n to be in the machine for an hour.. really sick man..

after that at around 5pm my surgeon came to my wad n asked me to stand up n "tip toe" to see the peroneal tendon is coming out or not but it doesn't come out... he said he will wait for the MRI report and talk with my parents tomorrow morning...
then after that the anesthesiologist then came in to discuss and inform to me what type of anesthesia that she's going to give to me and also to get a consent from me..

i asked her weather can i go for epidural anesthesia or not..
she said better go for general...
so i said ok la after she explain the effect of the general and epidural anesthesia...

the next morning i took a nice warm bath and wash my leg be4 going to OT (Operation Theater)

after few hours of my bath the nurse came to give me the OT shirt…. But I didn’t wear it yet bcoz no people helping me to tie the shirt behind.. It’s just like the MRI part again but this time cant even wear underwear… DANGEROUS.. then my parents came over… so I asked my mom to help me tie the shirt behind.. the surgeon came and ask me weather i 100% want to continue for OP or not...

i said yes..
so a consent letter is taken again...
so ready for OP....
